Bygone Beautys Treasured Teapot Museum & Tearooms is nestled in the picturesque mountain village of Leura and houses the world’s largest private collection of teawares. There are more than 5,500 teapots in the collection, spanning five centuries and including teapots from all over the world, most of which were collected within Australia.
The Treasured Teapot Museum reflects and preserves the diversity of Australian tea-drinking culture. Everywhere you look you will see teapots and tea-related artefacts, old and new, rare or common from Australia, America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Museum Admission of $5.50 per person is redeemed with an equivalent purchase in the tearooms or retail area.
Enjoy the selection of teas and partake of lunch or light refreshments in the tearooms. Devonshire Tea is the house specialty or indulge in a Traditional High Tea, bookings essential.
